Trusted Beauty Journal

Editorial policy

Trusted Beauty Journal aims to make beauty information understandable, proportionate and transparent. Our editorial choices put reader understanding ahead of product hype.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against reliable, relevant information and use precise language about what is known. We distinguish product descriptions from evidence, avoid promises about results and do not turn general explanations into personal health advice.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for their usefulness and relevance to readers. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or editorial approval. We make material interests clear when they are relevant to a published item.

Corrections

If you believe something is inaccurate or unclear, contact us through the Contact page and identify the passage and concern. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner material is labelled clearly where it appears and kept distinguishable from editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where applicable, they are identified so readers can tell illustrative imagery from documentary photography.

Our point of view

Clarity before claims

Beauty choices are personal, but product language need not be confusing. We explain what information can show, where its limits begin and what questions are worth asking.
